I have an illustration in the February 2010 issue of Hour Detroit, for an article about some of the more sensational unsolved murder cases from 1920s-era Detroit. It was a challenge to illustrate the subject without tipping over into outright goriness, so I went for a more conceptual approach — the faded sepia tones also underlines the time period that these crimes took place.
